CONSTANTIABERG PEAK BAG
This 12 km full-day hike starts from the Silvermine Dam Parking Area taking the Crags trail up towards Elephant’s Eye Cave. From there the footpath gradually continues up the hill through magnificent Erica and other fynbos, until we reach the Constantiaberg summit, one of the #13peaks! Lunch-break is enjoyed at the summit and from here the footpath follows a steep downward track towards a high neck overlooking Hout Bay, a truly spectacular view. From here we follow the Panorama trail which contours around the dam offering more splendid views towards Noordhoek and Kommetjie. We continue along the trail to the dam parking area, where the hike ends. Bring your own picnic to enjoy at the dam after the hike!
